I will probably forget some but here are those guys that stand out...because they don't normally contribute:
Top of the list: Cordell and Bakari. Cordell played good, tough defense. He rebounded the ball well, limited turnovers, and even scored a little. That was a much needed contribution and he did a good job.
Bakari played pretty good defense, hit a 3, made two KEY free throws and had some nifty assists. His contribution was very important to our win.
Ryan K.......hadn't been playing well but he had a decent rebounding game and played really good defense (had 4 blocks) as well as scoring some points....his contribution was vital.
Garza was Garza....what else can you say. It's astounding that he CONSISTENTLY produces those numbers...today especially when he was getting hosed by the officials.
Connor....7 assists and 0 ZERO turnovers in a game that was very physical and really ragged. Wow, this kid is such a good player without being a big scorer.
Joe W didn't shoot well but played good defense and rebounded really well with 8.
Joe T hit a THREE....and did okay otherwise. Just needs to reduce turnovers. He's close to breaking though but hasn't quite figured it out yet.
