The AP lst team All conference picks for the Big Ten:: Four of the five are from their home states. And the one who isn't is from Ohio.

All the five 2nd teamers were from their home states.

And 9 of the states were midwestern.

AP lst team All Big 12 (5). Only one from his home state. One is from Ohio

2nd team, AP Big 12 (5) . 2 from home states. One is from Ohio.

Those midwestern states produce some good players!

I've noticed that people that are not from their home state are almost always tall for their height!

Well, isn't being from the" home state", lots shorter than saying "is from the state in which the school that they play for is located?"
Glad I could add some hilarity, but d#mn, I thought it was more interesting than some of the "research" some posters do here.

I think it's perhaps MORE interesting that 2 of the Top 10 players in the Big10 are
from IOWA.
