Kırk is finishing his career at İowa with a bang!. Where is all the haters calling him Kurt? Few have done more with less Than Kirk. Love the guy
That QB sneak was so damn ballsy. Well done, Kirk.
I had no problems with ANY of the calls by Kirk, Davis, or Parker today. Love going for it on 4th and 2. If not for the un-called PI, we're punching that one in for 6. Love the sneak on 4th and inches at our 26. Loved the timeout with time running out in the 1st half to get it back and try to score. No problem with scrapping that scoring attempt after the sack.
Great job out of Kirk and the staff this year, not to mention the players. Feels good to be playing to win.

Should've had the first down anyway with a correct spot.
THAT was a genuine "Nope. F*** this. Don't care. Go for it." moment.....I LOVED IT.
And then the good feeling was gone on the next play.........

I will admit I was ready to move on from Kirk after last season. He takes a brunt of the blame when the team has a poor showing, he gets the kudos...and I will gladly continue to eat crow.
Glad we are seeing "3.0" and hopefully it can be maintained until Kirks time is up at Iowa, whenever that is.
He is still Kurt, but the heat forced him to actually make changes starting with Beathard in January. His job was finally in jeopardy! He is still the same lousy game day coach that can't manage the clock and makes really dumb calls at times (as an example obviously injured LD on 3rd and 3 on the 8 yard line and then go for it on 4th down and fail). So, I for one still think the guy is still a lousy game day coach. I just do not voice it until someone like you spouts your BS!
