He wasn't the guy, he lived with the guy. He probably wasn't making money getting high. You need a wide-open schedule to sell drugs to the end user if you expect to make money. They weren't caught with anything that would suggest serious trafficking or connections. They were users. Nothing to be proud of, but also not deserving of the scorn STILL offered by some Hawk fans.
I say this to all parents as a non-parent: Your kids are f****d if you're still around and they need college athletes to be role models for them. That's your job. If you're stupid enough to expose your kids to college athletes as role models, then it's also your fault when that backfires. Also, OF COURSE many of your kids will do drugs in spite of your best efforts. If that's you, do you want to know what never helps? Condemning a third party.
