Yes. They had to go through the front of his neck for the procedure. Pretty tough deal.

A very good guy. Has been mowing yards and little jobs to make ends meet. If anyone has work, he would be good to do it. Contact the wrestling office.

man, that's a bummer. Kolby was very good early. i think 2nd or 3rd in his first year at Fargo. was always a fan. that injury, if i'm not mistaken, effected him at the end of HS. hope he can go in to coaching or something.
So if the Ferrari experiment fails next year this time we are looking to the portal for a 97 lber.
I guess that explains the mystery why we haven’t seen him wrestle since the SS, when he beat Glazier. Thought he would have been competing for the spot last year. Feldman from tOSU had serious neck injury and surgery his freshman year, but got luckier after the recovery. I saw him land on his head this year and I cringed. Kolby is smart, he has his whole life ahead of him, don’t risk getting permanent nerve damage or even paralyzed. Good sign that he can do physical labor, hope he gets his degree.

I enjoyed your matches when you were still here in Pennsylvania and I hoped your neck injury was NOT as serious as I had heard... but sadly I understand that it is a career ending injury and I am glad you are focusing on healing your body and moving on. Best of luck in all of your future endeavors !
