Kum and Go is rebranding?!?

New ownership hated the name. They were set to change the name before they even inked the deal. Was some question if it would be absorbed, come back as k&g or something new entirely. Looks like they're simply being absorbed by the new mothership (some poetic irony there actually)

Maverik's headquarters are in Salt Lake City. Safe to assume they're a Mormon company?

“If you’re growing cross-regionally, which brand do you think will have more appeal to a new audience: Maverik or Kum & Go? No disrespect to Kum & Go, but the answer is pretty clear.

I've already forgotten what Maverick or however it is spelled name is. I remembered the name of Kum & Go after the first time I ever witnessed one. I even remembered the spelling. From a marketing standpoint, there aren't many more names more effective than the Kum & Go brand. People won't forget that one.

Maverick's is a strip joint in Sioux City, so this is bound to lead to some interesting errors by phone map apps.

Maverik should just agree to give the K&G name to this establishment, while they give up the “Maverick’s” name. All parties are better for, Now we just have to get ahold of each and have them shake (very washed) hands over this.

The Maverick’s we used last Spring when out west were very nice…honestly every bit as good as K&G, if not better. Here in Ioway, QT and KS will easily fill and void (if any) left by the change.
