Daniels is a great runner when he wants to be. Let's hope he keeps it up. He should have a great year. Looking forward to it! We do have some fine backs. And that OL ain't too bad either.

When he runs like he is able to run, the guy is a badass. When he runs scared, like he did last year after his injury, he is average at best. He was definitely thinking too much. When When he just let's it rip, he is a great runner. So far, so good this season!
If a Iowa can't beat NDST at home without James Daniels, then we're not a top 15 team.
When he is 100% healthy (like now) he is a beast. When he is not healthy, he and all running backs don't run as well or as confidently.
Leshun being healthy is huge. You could see it in the Minnesota game last year. He has some decent speed and hits the hole pretty good. Need to get up big against NDSU and rest the starters.
Agree, LeShun looks quicker and is cutting more sharply this year. We have a couple of outstanding backs, and the next two guys look good too!

Daniels is looking very good so far this year. I think it helps both him and wadley down the stretch that they can split carries.
