I am no expert. Played the position of QB a long time ago at the D III level. However, I just watched tape of Lainez for the first time. My impressions:
Good arm strength
Throws accurately on the run
Incredible escapability in the pocket
Takes snaps from center (under appreciated skill in today's landscape)
Almost 78% completion percentage (are you kidding me?)
Really looking forward to his development as a college football player. Exciting recruit. Helps me forget about losing that tackle from SEP.
