Same formula that Fran has always used. Whoever has the ball after mid court will dribble dribble dribble to launch a hopeful game winner.
Fran used this tactic with Roy Marble all the time. In his freshman year when Jordan B beat Wisconsin it was on a pass he received not creating his own space.

Kid can't create his own space sheesh... And as the outspoken senior who believes he should be paid for his playing Coaches might want to get tough with him
and suggest he take better shots. If the threes are not falling then there is always a two.

Why do you feel the need to bring up his beliefs? They have zero to do with that last play. 5.7 seconds and that was what we got? That was on Fran, not JBO. If you want to get the ball up the court quickly obviously Touissant was your guy. 5.7 seconds is a ton of time. Awful.

It was on both of them, IMO, if situation called for it.

Fran should have ran a play for anyone but JBo or Connor on that last possession before OT. And if Fran didn't call for it to be 'JBo and only JBo', then JBo himself should have found either Garza or JoeW or CJF to take the last shot instead of that abomination of a last possession.

That play pretty much showcased the limitations of JBO.

He couldn't physically run around the defender in the open court.

Hes not capable of playing pg.

It's idiotic to have a relatively slow, smallish guard try to take the ball one on one up the court in that situation. There was plenty of time for a play that actually makes sense to set up a decent shot. That was just garbage.

Needed to have JBo take the ball up court, drive then kick back to a shooter at the top of the key if he can’t get a shot off.
