Honestly, what’s lost in all of this is how great of a screen this was, he knew that, he was toast, and tried to muck it up
Bucky doesn't usually get called for things like merely hooking and grabbing a screener's leg. Davison was probably stunned it was called.
The more times I see that clip the more I think personal foul, 15 yd penalty and check for hand to helmet contact.

Suspension needed. Come on Barta- contact the B1G conference about this, just an inquiry, anything... Or just keep sitting on your hands, as usual probably..
It's out of his hands. Flagrant 1 fouls are reviewed by the conference. If Davison is not suspended, it has nothing to do with Barta or Iowa. If Barta or Fran were to publicly advocate for punishment for another player, Iowa would be punished.
Davison does deserve a punishment beyond the Flagrant 1 he was assessed. This type of play is just ridiculous.
If that doesn't get at least a 1-game suspension, I don't know what will, especially with Davison's past history of dirty play.
I saw where some Wisconsin fans were pissed Gard didn’t blow up on the officials after this call and think he should have stood up for Davison. Amazing.
Gard is smarter than most Wisconsin fans. Didn't need to add another TF.

He already has a rep for the nut shot, so it could be....but watching the play, I tend to think the above is right. By going low and hooking the leg, he moves McCaffery's body and makes it look like Connor scooted out late and Davison was trying to dive around.

and, what I would consider even more egregious, is there are plenty of videos of him understepping people as they are landing. That crap has no room in a basketball league anywhere.
Let 'em hear it. I sent an AM email complaint yesterday AM. Another today.

Well they reviewed it, and he got the one game suspension. Maybe light, but at least they put him on warning. I'd imagine any further complaints will be looked at closely..
He's already been on "warning". No more chances.
Keep emailing the league until they cut him entirely.
He will not alter his tactics based on simple 'wrist slaps'. This has been going on for >2 years now.
