I can't wait to see the push out at your event, still not sure about the shot clock in folk style, but I think you guys are on to something with the push out. I think it keeps action in the center of the mat.

I like the idea of the shot clock although sometimes in freestyle, it seems like an arbitrary decision. But if one guy is taking the shots, why not reward him quicker than they do?

To my eyes (aka no actual numbers behind it), the 30 second shot clock often provides an aggressive wrestler the incentive to become less aggressive for 30 seconds to secure a point. Where extending on offense and getting countered would previously be a 2 point move against, it is now essentially a 3 point move against.

Maybe we can look at implementing that next year or at another event. Push out will be fun to see thats for sure!
