Just got a scholly offer from the bullies out east.. This will show if Iowa has what it takes to keep one of its top recruits committed

Lattimore told Rob Howe the offer doesn't change anything and he loves Iowa.
That's positive. Then hopefully they can get A. Jackson to Iowa too.
Yeah I haven't seen anything about Jackson and MSU in awhile so I wonder if they are still recruiting him. It is a positive that they are visiting Iowa at the same time (Jan. 22) along with Golston and Boswell.
There was a similar one a year ago where almost all of the committed players were in Iowa City the same weekend. That date is a big OV weekend as I believe N. Stanley is coming that weekend as well.

Disagree with you entirely other than I despise Michigan as well. MSU and their BS ways faking injuries, getting a player out of jail to a game etc, Douchetonio is just that a DOUCHE.I think Lattimore and Golston are all in for the Hawks. I have seen Jackson, he is really raw but has tremendous upside with good coaching. I would like to see us get this kid.
I think Des Kings development and success has really changed the perception here in Michigan about the Hawks. I have lived here 13 years and have received more positive comments when walking around with hawk apparel than I did when McNutt caught that winning catch.
Tremendous visibility when you make the championship game. I really think we had MSU on the ropes in the 4th quarter, credit them for a program changing drive.
Hard to root for arrogant Wolverines but MSU not so much. I like Dantonio over cry baby Harbaugh. Irks me that Michigan is getting commits from so many top players.
Farniok and Jackson are going to in IC on 1/22.
Lattimore is from Detroit. That is no more "hometown" for MSU than the Quad Cities would be for ISU. If Michigan offers...Always a cause for concern when a team like MSU comes in with a late offer on a hometown recruit. Like I said during some Noah Fant discussions, I believe that guys are going to a school when they sign on signing day.

I believe Karan Higdon was telling everyone the same thing. Think about it, would MSU make a offer if he was ignoring them ?Lattimore told Rob Howe the offer doesn't change anything and he loves Iowa.
Not hometown, but east Lansing to Detroit is 90 miles, so more like quad cities for Iowa.Lattimore is from Detroit. That is no more "hometown" for MSU than the Quad Cities would be for ISU. If Michigan offers...
Not move on. Lattimore is one of our top targets and we were first to the table with him. Losing gin at this point to the cheaters in green and white will hurt.
True, but they can have vodka Sam as far as I'm concerned. And they damn well better leave our tonic alone, too.
Ann Arbor is significantly closer. That is the point. He probably grew up a Michigan fan. The distance between the two schools and Detroit is probably similar to Cedar Rapids for Iowa and ISU(I realize the milage is probably not exactly the same.) I don't think anybody would claim a kid from Cedar Rapids getting an offer from ISU is a "hometown" offer. I guess I should have went with CR instead QC.Not hometown, but east Lansing to Detroit is 90 miles, so more like quad cities for Iowa.
Point taken. And yes if Michigan offers that would be a hometown offer. Obviously, east lansing is much closer than Iowa City, so we will see if that makes a difference.Ann Arbor is significantly closer. That is the point. He probably grew up a Michigan fan. Had he said home state offer, then there is no argument.
