Lawn mower advise

No bass yet. There are so many bugs on the water that we should be fine. We also put 40lbs of Canadian minnows in for bait fish

I'm not a fan of feeders myself.

I'd love to have a pond.

I have a few clients that have amazing ponds that were basically paid by the government, watershed program. They struck the pond lottery.

Look at all the overpasses around Iowa. There's always a pond right nearby.

I need to get a new mower for my Iowa property.

Dude, plant some prairie grasses.

Seriously, unless you're playing badminton or lawn darts there, block off 75% of it, and throw down some native wild flowers and grasses mix, and save yourself thousand$ and literally entire *days* worth of time every summer.

Just mow strips along the drive and walkways, and reasonable sized "yard" area around the domicile. You could also mow a little more, like 50%, and confine the prairie sections to something that looks more like over-sized flower beds. Either way, the key is to keep the border between the two fairly neat and sharp.
