Leaders or Legends?

Penn State, Michigan State, and now THE Ohio State...leaders or legends...or both? What's that you say, Big Jim? Maybe money and malfeasance? Yah, that sounds about right.

The embarrassments continue for the Big Ten East, and maybe I missed it, but I have yet to hear a peep from the guy who runs the whole show. Sad days for Big Ten fans.

Sadness is right but folks outside the BIG don't separate the divisions so what's sad for the east is also sad for the whole of the BIG. We covet accolades together and we must accept the down side together as well. Big black eye.

Before any of you jump all over me, I am a lifetime die hard Hawk fan and contributor. I suggest those of you who want to get all high and mighty remember Iowa has had its share of embarrassments. Remember Rhabdo. Remember Barta versus the Lesbians with the Feds getting involved. All of this has been an embarrassment to the Big 10 also.

Not so fast. I was watching the daily show with Trevor and thought I heard that a former Wisconsin asst. wrestling coach is being accused of covering up sexual misconduct within the wrestling program

Rhabdo and lesbian? Maybe you found these incidents “embarrassing” but not me. I followed the handling of the rhabdo incident pretty closely since I’ve worked in strength and conditioning for 25 years. Didn’t find anything “embarrassing’ about the handling. I know some people felt KF should have immediately flown back to hold hands with the players involved. The “lesbian incident” I think you could poll 99% of B1G fans and they would have no idea what that is. Now Pierre Pierce and the Hayden Fry football player that stabbed a guy in the Fieldhose bar were embarrassing.

That's actually a fairly accurate appraisal. It's nice to see that you can do things other than troll. Kudos!

It's days like today when we're happy to be Iowa and have a guy like KF as a coach. It's days like January 1 during the CFP when we wish we were OSU or Bama despite the cheating, allegations, and law breaking.
