It's because NW officially hasn't beaten anybody. They got blown out by Michigan, and ESPN successfully petitioned the NCAA to strike the Stanford game from the record.

Their best win didn't really happen; ergo, our best win isn't a "best win." JMO.

Exactly. Iowa has a 30 point win on the road over the #14 team in the current CFP rankings yet Sterling lists a win over 5-7 Nebby instead of 10-2 Northwestern as one of Iowa's two best wins. He either has an agenda or he is really poor at what he does.

It is amazing Stanford gets a pass on that cause they traveled two time zones, yet had 8 months to prepare for that change.

Big 10 bowl game teams almost always have to travel to back yard games for their opponents and get no sympathy at all.

Dave Bartoo from college football matrix said that is models show Iowa winning in a close one but he gave MSU the edge because of experience and talent level. But just looking at numbers he said Iowa should be favored.
