Maybe Valencia taking the Real Woods route.
The only reason he is the 4th seed is because of the way beast does the seeding. Leo is ranked #1 in the country.

DeLuca an absolute bulldog, getting the win 5-2 in the finals. 2 TDs to none.
The 113 kid actually looked bigger. Deluca must be as short or shorter than Spencer. It’s nice to have another blue chip coming in that can probably stay at 125 without killing himself with the cut.
There are not many in the wrestling world standing as tall as Deluca and Spencer today however. Champions
Yeah he definitely looks like a career 125lber to me. Tomasello-ish build. He’s super quick on those TDs and has lots of horse power to boot. We’re getting a good one.

I guess it depends on what kind of kid he is. If he’s a brainiac, he’ll go to Cornell, if he’s chasing team titles, he’ll choose PSU, if he’s hung like a horse, he’s coming to Iowa.

Deluca beat Nate Desmond a few nights ago. #3 at the weight committed to PSU. 6-3. Two TD’s and a reversal.
We would be set at first two weights, but maybe not. Sounded like the weight cut was getting to him already, which surprised me considering how short Nate was. Think he ballooned to 160 by the time he gave that interview in the early spring.
If only wrestling had multiple weight class

Deluca reminds me of Nate except with a better ride. Great pace although I think Nate's handfighting was already college lvl.
i think he has better movement skills too. looking forward to seeing more of that kind of speed on the team.
He is not shy about going and getting that first period TD against tough competition is he.

I went from 125 -128 out of high school to 155 in a year. Easy to put mass on when you aren't cutting and turn 18.
Disagree that we need to recruit a 5’3” 160 pounder with concussion issues who hasn’t wrestled in two years. 😉
