It's basically a medical RS for a guy who was injured, and I'm guessing that there was talk about him not jumping KJ at any point this year. Makes sense honestly for him.
he redshirted in 2020. Do they get 2 now with Covid rules? I don't get all the rules now.I think the rule is playing in 4 games or less but I get your point. I believe he’s taking a red shirt.
No idea. Didn’t know he redshirted in 2020. Maybe he’s just using the xtra Covid year?he redshirted in 2020. Do they get 2 now with Covid rules? I don't get all the rules now.
The problem is, we have a history here where KF lives and dies on the hill of choosing a qb. Look at how bad Hill was last year. He was atrocious!!! Despite that and despite his many turnovers, his terrible accuracy, and his horrible lack of mobility and speed, he refused, REFUSED to give any other qb even one rep during the regular season. I don’t give a crap what the hell happens during practice. If the performance in the games are not good, allow someone the opportunity to shine that has worked for it. Sullivan isn’t an incoming freshman or some guy that hasn’t played in Big Ten environments. He actually has more experience than McNamara over the last year. Can you explain in what way BS is significantly better than CM? Stats or videos or actual game plays to back that up? Do you see every practice? Thanks in advance for all of the upcoming info.
I am also not sold on CM but I am interested in your insight.
What's the deal now? Do guys still get 1 redshirt or can they just say I'm not playing and do one whenever?Love the redshirt rules these days.
Still one, but you can play in four games and still redshirt. Of course I think we're getting to the end of the "Covid year" era finally where they played the whole season yet didn't lose eligibility. What's the deal now? Do guys still get 1 redshirt or can they just say I'm not playing and do one whenever?
No it wouldn’t. You don’t get paid for a job you just quit. That would be a dick move
He seems to have better arm strengh and obviously better mobility to extend plays that go wrong. What's the downside of giving BS a chance is how I look at it?The problem is, we have a history here where KF lives and dies on the hill of choosing a qb. Look at how bad Hill was last year. he already redshirted in 2020.Still one, but you can play in four games and still redshirt. Of course I think we're getting to the end of the "Covid year" era finally where they played the whole season yet didn't lose eligibility.
What?????What a shitty season
which means he doesn't have to sit out any games. Then he has a Covid year.
He will transfer at semester anyway to get to new school for spring ball.So can Iowa pull the Schollies after the semester of those who enter the portal? Seems ridiculous that they have to pay a year of academics when a person chooses to go elsewhere 5 weeks into the season
No it wouldn’t. You don’t get paid for a job you just quit.
Well, as BF said when asked about replacing Hill who was stinking up the place, “what’s the upside?”He seems to have better arm strengh and obviously better mobility to extend plays that go wrong. What's the downside of giving BS a chance is how I look at it?
It would make sense that 2025 would be the last season that someone could claim a "COVID year."Still one, but you can play in four games and still redshirt. Of course I think we're getting to the end of the "Covid year" era finally where they played the whole season yet didn't lose eligibility.
