What kind of weapons? As long as USA arsenal is fully equipped to do this, no problem. Then again, when a hammer costs $1000 and a toilet seat $500, maybe the USA is sending them leftover material to have Ukraine build outhouses? That gets you to $425MM pretty quickly.

Maybe the military is upgrading some weapons so the MIC approves this?

We have been sending them old, outdated (still way better than Russian) equipment from the beginning. We then reinvest money (already allocated with the bi partisan approved budget) back into new weaponry/tech.

But somehow a stupid elon bot rumor has spread like the plague that we are telling citizens in need here to **** off and giving money directly to Ukraine.
