Socialism? The biggest, most expensive “socialist” programs the world has ever seen originated in the USA and are wildly popular. I chuckle when these knuckleheads throw terms around they don’t understand.
Social Security, a government run pension program has an approval rate of more than 85%, for instance. Most of the rest do not approve because they want to see it expanded.
Medicare, Medicaid, and CHIP, are government mandated and regulated health care, a life saver for seniors and children.
Try cutting these “socialist” government programs and see what happens.

I don’t think you care to actually examine the anti market programs the dem party are proposing. Our market system has created the most wealth and moved millions out of poverty. Every recent idea that has come from the dem party moves us closer to Cuba.
I 100% "decry" the attempted assassination attempt on Trump. I also 100% believe he should face a military court and be hung for treason in his Jan 6 coup attempt. Let's give him the dead for the right reason and in the right way.

I am not aware of proposals by any serious dem politicians to implement communism: to seize the means of production, to restrict the exercise of religion, to seize the media or suppress the First A right to protest.
Of course Trump has done and/or said he would do all of these but that’s for a different thread.

Yes, I also heard him say he didn't want to drop out. His wife said she didn't want him to drop out. In fact, just a couple days before he dropped out, they both said he was 100% in.
He had a disastrous debate with Trump and the decision was made to replace him. They gave him no choice. It's as simple as that. And as a way to keep him quiet, they made it clear that his son Hunter was no longer being protected by the powers that be. Less than two weeks after President Biden dropped out of the race, a story came out that Hunter was being charged with accepting money from a Russian who was trying to gain access to the Vice President and influence US Government agencies. I predict that as long as Joe plays ball, those charges won't go anywhere. But if Joe starts spouting off again about how he was pushed out against his will, the case against hunter will see new life.
