Hello and good afternoon from Key Arena in Seattle where in a few hours, the Hawkeyes will face Davidson.
Really like the arena here in Seattle. It's not a traditional NBA arena in some respects (doesn't feel overly big) and can get pretty loud based on what I heard during the UNI game.
The UNI Panthers have moved on after a 71-54 win over Wyoming. Jesperson had 16 and Tuttle with 14. Panthers get the winner of Louisville/Cal-Irvine. Just saw the center for Irvine and he's a legit 7-6. Crazy big.
Iowa will be wearing their home white uniforms tonight as the better seed.
Will get the officials probably after the next game.
Also, on this date back in 1987 in Seattle...at a different arena...Iowa knocked off Oklahoma to advance to the Elite 8. Here's link to some video of that game.
