Recap of Sunday's game here: Iowa 81, Wisconsin 66: Off on a High Note
Hello and welcome to the Big Ten Tournament! As the 11-seed, Iowa has to win five games in five days to win the BTT, but it still has the fourth-best odds to win the whole thing.
No injuries to speak of today — Kennise Johnson still the only name on the report. Wisconsin's is similarly unchanged from Sunday's regular season finale.
Iowa's formula for victory will likely be more of the same as Sunday: get bigs Serah Williams and Carter McCray in foul trouble and off the floor. We saw some minutes with O'Grady/Heiden and Stuelke on the floor when the Badgers were clicking inside; do we see more of the same today? We know the coaches like the matchups 1-5 (or, at least, 3-5) better with the smaller lineup, but McCray was completely unafraid of attacking Mallegni and Affolter at the hoop.
Iowa is favored by 17.5 tonight. There's a lot more avenues for victory for the Hawks tonight than the Badgers. But March is weird, so are rematches, and anything can happen in 40 minutes.
Who do you all want to see have a big night tonight?
