No. Of course not. That would be silly.Didn’t read. Is he saying if it had been played on Saturday we’d have lost?
They presented or Iowa created?"Give Iowa credit, they’re a good football team that took full advantage of the opportunities we presented them."
Just replay his audio after any Notre Dame loss and you’ll pretty much have it.What I would like is they get a mic in front of the human sprinkler, Lou Holtz, for his expert analysis of how Maryland didn’t take advantage of their Offensive talent superiority and overall better athletes.
Seriously looked like someone killed his dogthe dude looked lost on many occasions on the sideline... little wonder the game's outcome reflected this.
But he is a young QB.....In his defense, BTN’s post game was all about what’s wrong with Maryland, not what’s right with Iowa. And when a quarterback who is considered one of the best in the conference throws 5 interceptions, that does need to be addressed.
But it was clear that Iowa made some fantastic adjustments after Maryland’s first touchdown drive. None of that was discussed.
Shell Shock is a horrible thing.the dude looked lost on many occasions on the sideline... little wonder the game's outcome reflected this.
Iowa doesn't create turnovers. They're all gifted to us by the offense, or we just got extremely lucky. Ask every head coach of a team that "gifted" us a turnover or every sports analyst or podcaster that "knows" what really happens in football............They presented or Iowa created?
You are correct, Good recruiter but does not seem to make it pay off on the field. Not impressed by Locksley. His team is undisciplined. He might be a good recruiter but not much of a coach IMO.
People read way too much into coachspeak. His job is to talk about Maryland, not Iowa."Give Iowa credit, they’re a good football team that took full advantage of the opportunities we presented them."
Imagine if all those "athletes" could be molded and disciplined? Not impressed by Locksley. His team is undisciplined. He might be a good recruiter but not much of a coach IMO.
Maybe so, but I would imagine that Brian Ferentz was trying to polish up the passing game when he had the opportunity.Looked like he was going to cry on the sidelines. The amount of times Iowa was throwing the ball up 44-7 shows KF has no love for Locksley.
Agree. Our offense needed the reps going into next week and beyond. We gained some much-needed continuity and confidence on offense last night.Maybe so, but I would imagine that Brian Ferentz was trying to polish up the passing game when he had the opportunity.
This. Iowa was up that big with an entire half left, this gave them a chance to work on spacing, timing, routes, and live in game reps against a big ten defense with little consequence. That experience is invaluableMaybe so, but I would imagine that Brian Ferentz was trying to polish up the passing game when he had the opportunity.

Both of these statements can be true.Maybe so, but I would imagine that Brian Ferentz was trying to polish up the passing game when he had the opportunity.
Yeah, that’s how I interpreted it. I don’t think it was about disrespect. I think it was about a coach recognizing Iowa has had a lot of offensive deficiencies needing worked out.Maybe so, but I would imagine that Brian Ferentz was trying to polish up the passing game when he had the opportunity.

Who cares? We just beat them by 5 TD’s in maybe the most important game since their arrival in the B10. The scoreboard says it all.
And we get lucky a LOT! So lucky in fact that Iowa has been "gifted" far more interceptions in the last 5 years than any other team in football.Iowa doesn't create turnovers. They're all gifted to us by the offense, or we just got extremely lucky. Ask every head coach of a team that "gifted" us a turnover or every sports analyst or podcaster that "knows" what really happens in football............
The Maryland coach needs to spend a little time coaching his team how not to get stupid penalties, among other things. Oh, and maybe how not to throw SIX INTs. LOL
This is another reason I loved how Hayden almost never called off the attack. Who gives a damn about the other team? If they don't want to get embarrassed, then do something about it. Deuce should have been tossing passes into the end zone on that last drive instead of just handing the ball off. Why should Hogan and the rest of the backups play with handcuffs on because the fellas on the other sideline might get miffed? BS on that. Hayden knew better.
BTW: Locksley should just tell everyone Maryland won and demand a recount to prove it. That's how losers in half the country respond to facts they don't like, am I right? LOL

Oh, and maybe how not to throw SIX INTs. LOL
