Ha ha! Of COURSE A. A. Ron Rodgers' little "darkness retreat" was a scam/joke . . .

One fact that Aaron Rodgers cannot change:

He will be 40 years old this year. Father time is catching up
with him. His physical skills on the gridiron will diminish each
year that he continues to put on his football uniform.. The
truth is Aaron Rodgers loves the limelight. HIs aging ego is
starting to do weird things to gain attention.

Bottom Line: Rodgers needs to retire and not be a douche bag..
A freaking men!

As usual, Lute NAILS IT.

Lol, you serious clark? He's been a gigantic self-absorbed douchebag for yeeeeeeears and its about freakin time people are finally realizing it
And nobody gave 2 shits until he (gasp) didn't CHOOSE to get the covid vax.

It’s not even football season and Rodgers is still providing entertainment for everyone. Whether you love him or hate him…you are paying attention. And he’s delivering quality material: wavering on a trade, possible retirement, covid, darkness retreats, etc.

Wrong. Do some actual research before parroting this garbage. The team knew his vax status and he had to go thru all the ridiculous protocols as a result.

And when asked directly if he’d taken the vaccine in the preseason he said he’d been “immunized”, giving everyone in the public the impression he had taken the vaccine.

The team knew he hadn’t been honest, and hoped that it wouldn’t ever come to light.

That was the best troll job ever by A.a.ron.. none of the people there knew any better and he didn't say he was vaccinated. Classic Aaron. And the truth was, he was "immunized" according to his doctors that wrote the reports that they sent to the NFL. No lie there.

Saying he was immunized in direct response to a question if he’d taken the vaccine is a lie imo. Anyone who heard that response took it to mean he’d taken a vaccine.

Bc its none of "the public's " damn business.
His team and teammates knew his status, and he followed all the ridiculous protocols, THAT WERE IN FACT BASED ON A REAL LIE.
That should piss everyone off far more than his little word game but of course it doesn't bc... politics.

And that's what he wanted, and did so with out having to lie. The worst thing you can say is he just didn't answer the question. He seems to love trolling people.

There’s a place in CR (I assume this would be available in all medium-sizes cities) that does a sensory deprivation float. A co-worker does one every 2-3 months, and I’m intrigued. Sounds fun.

AA maybe a douchebag but the hate this time may be less about him that the new-age practices high profile dudes like him and brady adopt. apparently a simple consultation with the local pastor or barber would've served him better.

That’s parsing it really finely. He was asked a question, and did not respond honestly to it. If you want to say that’s not a lie, fine. To me, it’s a distinction without a difference.

I’m not going to relitigate all the protocols again. moot point now.

if he’d responded with a simple statement that his vaccination status was private, and he’d informed the league and team but the general public did not need to know, fine. I’d actually have no problem with that because I agree, it’s not really our business.

but that’s not what he did. He was asked a question, and intentionally gave a response that was not honest and meant only to deceive.

We are watching Rodgers morph into football's version of Kyrie Irving before our eyes. For some folks, that's a good thing.

I will point out that neither of them played basketball for the Crimson Tide, so they've got that going for them.

So the protocols are a moot point and don't bother you now, but someone being less than transparent about their personal vax status does? Sorry, but that's messed up.

The protocols were put in place in an attempt to keep people safe and healthy. With the benefit of hindsight, it may be said they were too strict or were ineffective. That does not, however, absolve A. A. Ron Rodgers from being criticized for both not caring enough for his fellow players or other colleagues enough to comply with those safety and health protocols or for lying about it.

It’s a moot point NOW which is why I don’t feel like diving into them again.

Again, if Aaron had simply chosen not to answer the question and assert his privacy like you said, I’d have no issue. Instead he chose to be dishonest.

Call it a personal quirk, but I don’t like people who are intentionally dishonest.

What safety protocols, which weren't just inneffective but based on an actual lie, did he break with his teammates? And don't give me the "he talked to the media without a mask on" garbage.
Actually don't bother, this thread has already proved my initial premise and it's a waste of time to rehash the covid crap with most of you.

There I said the same thing as you, just in fewer words

I didn't ignore anything. I'm just not going waste time arguing semantics with those who won't acknowledge the ridiculousness of the entire Rodgers vax saga.

For me it's less about the Packers or his homeopathic beliefs.

It is the fact he is the literal anti-christ that has me so down on him.
:p
The Bears have a young, talented QB on the way up.
A scrambling, running QB, destined to spend half his life on the IR before retiring with 5 years under his belt...

I fully expect AR to fully emerge from his cocoon of darkness, revitalized, like the emergence of a beautiful Swallowtail butterfly from it's chrysalis, fluttering back to Soldier Field to continue his ownership of the hapless Bears until such time that has become completely bored with his success and turns pro on the Champions Tour...

Im reserving judgement on Fields until he gets guys who can catch the ball - he wasn’t a running qb in college.

May not work out but I’m as optimistic about him as I’ve been about any young qb they’ve had in my life. Admittedly that includes Cade, Rex, Mitch so the bar is low 🤦‍♂️

Everyone saying this either didn't watch Fields play at OSU or the last two years, or hasn't been able to kick their black qb stereotypes quite yet (or both). He doesn't run bc he wants to, he does bc he has to. Just bc he can house it from anywhere doesn't make him a running qb, he's just damn good at it when he needs to. Good luck dealing with him for the next decade.

Maybe he should focus on delivering championships instead of trolling constantly. Ya know, maybe put in some time with the rookie WRs.

He’s already got one and knows he’s not getting another with the team they have currently.

Not a stereotype-a statistic. He runs once for every two times he passes. 160 rushes, 318 passes. AR rushed once for every 15 times he passed. Recipe for a short NFL career. Bears have started 35 QBs since Favre/Rodgers. Bear QBs are injury prone anyway...

Well assuming the Bears are smart enough to eventually get him a functioning O-line and some receivers, the plan is to NOT have to have him run that much. It's not like they want him taking hits.

If he keeps up at that rate I agree 100%. Would argue that’s not the long term plan however.

Agreed. Fields likely had the worst skill position group of players in the league, an oline that was inconsistent at best, and a first year OC still feeling his way into his job as well.

Qbs get hurt in the pocket /when passing plenty as well. Burrows blown ACL, mahomes ankle this year, Lamar knee this year, Josh Allen elbow this year, Herbert ribs and shoulder this year, Brock Purdy elbow...all pocket passing related injuries. At least when JF takes off he has more control of the potential contact
