It’s funny, the UK is very similar to the US in terms of overall appearance and fitness. (Meaning slovenly and overweight).
and yet allow people to sell you fried fish out of a truck and the put beans on toast.

Truth. I was in England and Scotland in June and was surprised how fat people were.
That is rather interesting. I haven’t been to England, but I’ve been to Ireland. Dont remember seeing many fattys.

Don't get me wrong, there were far fewer chonkers there than the US (which isn't saying much) but still quite a lot more than anticipated.
