By my quick math, the defense and special teams combined have given up three touchdowns longer than 50 yards through two games.
I think those units combined gave up two touchdowns longer than 50 yards the entire season in 2023!
They are being held to an impossible standard with this inconsistent offense.

Wrong. They gave up three today, and one against ISU,

Offense continues to show progress, 462 yards and 31 points today. Cade was efficient today and we have one of the finest running backs in the nation. You can’t see that?

You are definitely right. Offense looks a lot better than last year. I think our offense has looked so much improved. Putrid wasn’t the right word so I changed it. We have to be able to pass against a good defense. Still haven’t proven that yet. We sure proved we can run on one.

Getting beat on a long bomb once is an accident. Twice in one game is inexcusable. 3 times over 2 consecutive games is an alarming trend. Hopefully Phil can get this corrected.

As far as the punt return…..that happens on occasion to every team….I’m not concerned unless it happens again.
