more importantly if there were any 19 commits on the fence they should be solidly in the Iowa camp

this should open the door to more of Iowa's top targets in the 2019 class like 4* WR Bell, 4* RB Broch
4* OL Keegan, 4* OL Putnam, 4* QB Duggan and that's just on offense. [247 rankings]

it is wins like this on TV that gets Top Players attention more so that a last 2nd win on a FG, as those can be blown off as simple upset, now a 55-24 dismantling of a national power is a recruiting statement.

And because we were ahead early, the possibility of an upset was broadcast to the screens of most any game televised. Possible top recruits might have turned the channel just to see what was going on against a top ranked opponent. If we would have kept playing the keep it close game...this may not have happened.

I'm not going to disagree with the fact that it definitely would garner some additional attention but I have to think that recruits look at the bigger picture of a program and overall success rather than a single weekend beatdown. Just my opinion though
