Little remembered fact - "The Stand" was the name we hung on it right here on this site.
I was there...hotter than balls in the Dome...
Didn't hear about Tate not playing until we were on the shuttle bus to the game...
THE STAND happened right down in front of us...Klinkenborg was huge...

Yep. I was there too. Was sitting in the opposite end zone. But, knew instantly that Iowa held on fourth down. Fun times.
I was there too. We were at the opposite end also. And I do remember how hot it was.
As we were driving west to Buffalo after the game, we heard the call-in show. People were going nuts. Numerous Syracuse fans said, we have a 230 pound quarterback and we just don't run consecutive sneaks?!!!!!! Their fans were pissed off as well they should have been. Great win for the Hawkeyes!

I was there with my son. We flew to game on spur of the moment. It was awesome.
