assuming only bakhari and kreiner leave next year. Who redshirts? There is no way to play everyone next year.
Probably a few transfers and/or early entrants. There's always something unexpected in college basketball.
I agree with this. It's a tight-knit group. If anything, I see one of the guards and Ogundele redshirting.I think everyone comes back

I don't know. Cordell has played very well the last 2 games.Pemsl will not return
Pemsl will not return
I kind of hope so.I think this is likely true. I’m guessing they all know that and his body too broken down. I think he’s cutting out one final run right now.
Whose looking forward to complaining about Fran doing his mass substitutions again!? Funny how our short bench this year has been both a blessing and a curse!
I kind of hope so.
Watching him "run" down the court lets me know what I look like when I try to run.
Not good, but I am more than twice his age.
Het a degree, let your body heal as.best you can and start a regimen that can perserve what you have as long as you can.
Likelihood of not playing next season:
- Pemsl 75%
- Garza 50%
- Joe W 50%
- PMac 25% (health)
Someone help me out--
Are the Murray boys playing against guys their own age, or against younger competition?
Josh OgundeleWhich one of the twins plays the post? Who is going to do that?
Kriener is gone. Why would Garza come back? Pemsl is not a starter. Period.
That leaves Nunge who may or may not recover from his injury and no one else.

Why would Weezy leave?
I'm no expert, but I don't think he's ready for the NBA.
So he would go play in Europe, rather than play for a team that, on paper, could compete for a Big Ten Championship??
Noticed that as well. In the interview Fran did with Jon Rothstein he talked about the three senors off the bench. Kreiner, BE, and Pemsl.Fran has referred to him as a Senior multiple times this year. He gone.
Why would he not?
LOL. Jeez, I'm sorry, but just where in the hell do you think Joe W. is going to go? You think he's about 50% to go pro? Seriously? Where, the WNBA? Love the kid, and hope he gets things straightened out, but the only place for Joe W. if its not at Iowa next year is a transfer, and I don't see that happening. Maybe Fran was afraid Joe was leaving, and thats why he signed 5 guys. Maybe Joe told him that, I don't know. If thats the case then Fran has a BIG problem on his hands because Joe ain't playing in the league next year, if ever, and he was counting on his scholly being open then he has a mess on his hands.Likelihood of not playing next season:
- Pemsl 75%
- Garza 50%

On average we'll lose 2 of those players - my guess is Pemsl and Wieskamp, although I would have had him at 90% in December - just hasn't played himself into a high enough pick yet so it's more doubtful.
On that assumption:
PG: Bohannon 25 mpg, Touissant 15 mpg; Uhlis (Redshirt)
SG: CJF 30 mpg; Bohannon 5mpg; Perkins 5mpg
SF: PMac 20mpg; Keegan Murray 15mpg; Perkins 5mpg
PF: CMac 30mpg; Nunge 10mpg; Kris Murray (Redshirt)
C: Garza 30mpg; Nunge 10mpg; Ogundele (Redshirt)
I'm not sure that Perkins can play the SF spot at 6'3", so if Joe leaves we'll have a significant gap at SF that can be filled by Keegan Murray imo, backing up Patrick. If Patrick isn't healthy then we get pretty young in a hurry in terms of minutes by freshmen. Keegan is the better offensive player of the 2 twins. If Joe W comes back, then both Twins could redshirt or one could decide between Perkins and Keegan. Keegan may be ahead of Perkins in terms of offensive skill and can play both SG, SF and PF so might be a better option as he has position flex, allowing Perkins to redshirt.
Connor and Patrick are probably interchangeable at SF and PF, but Connor's strength likely makes him a better choice at PF defensively and he's done it this year.
I don't really like Garza and Nunge on the floor at the same time, especially on defense where I think Kriener was more mobile, so I think that will keep his minutes down. Ogundele looks raw to me physically (although skilled) and really needs a RS year to get his body in Big 10 condition.
You have to wonder.....I still don't think PMAC plays....
I'd be curious to hear what those reasons are, because surely you're not thinking dollars.I can think of about 20 million reasons.
