Looking like IA vs IU next Thursday

Super athletic, seem to be playing a little better, tough freakin big man!

Like many others have already mentioned, if we're worried about a team like Indiana, then we're probably an NIT-type team, anyway. Iowa certainly can't take any opponent lightly, but when Iowa is playing for their NCAA Tourney lives and lays an egg vs. a team that probably won't see the post-season (whether it's Indiana, Nebraska, Ohio St., etc), then they just ain't ready for prime time.

Indiana has a lot of talent. Losing to them would not be laying an egg. Opposed to posters..Fran & his players know it & respect it. We will need to play well.

I humbly disagree, which I've a right to do.

I AM worried about Indiana. Teams can get hot once in a while, for a game. Rutgers beat Illinois for cripes sake! Nearly beat Wisconsin.

I not gonna do it, but I'm tempted to do a run through the archives and locate all the posters who said we weren't going anywhere this year. Then match them up to posters saying, "Lay and egg", or other such comments before the Indiana game.

If I find someone saying both? That's something like Double Jeopardy isn't it? (The law term) You can't try someone twice! And you can't keep raising the bar or moving the finish line in a season when a team exceeds expectations.

We get to watch a BTT which means something important, in a year when few believed that would happen. The guys are playing with house money right now.

They passed the laying an egg stage already.

There is no unworthy BIG10 opponent for us this year. I think we can/will beat Indiana but I'm not taking them lightly...and neither will Fran.

This Indiana team has experienced big stage type games this year, they have that advantage over Iowa. Hopefully we can get settled into the gym like at Maryland.

Our next foe always should be the toughest game we will ever play, so we stay focused and gritty. I am proud of our young team, win or lose, because I know they will give their best effort!

How anyone could be sitting at the end of this Big Ten season and think ANY team in the conference should always beat another is beyond me.

I've never seen a season where any given game could go either way like this year.

This is accurate. I have no idea if Iowa is going to beat Indiana and I've been watching basketball for 60 years. Indiana has seldom been easy for Iowa to beat and this year is no exception. This is a tough draw for the Hawkeyes but it is what we have earned.

Bad matchup for us. Was hoping for Nebraska.

With that said, we came out really flat against them the first time and still won.
