No input to the raids, but I lol when I read this. I live in a very conservative community. Something like 75% Trump over Biden. A local concrete factory was raided during the Trump administration and dozens of immigrants were arrested. There was a huge outcry because the people deported were outstanding workings. Men and women who worked hard and contributed to the community.

It wasn't even a compromise. It was a complete capitulation by Democrats. It's amazing to me that Republicans killed that bill because that bill could have been the ticket to a Republican victory in November. Like the Lions though, when given the opportunity for a win they decided to give it away instead.
