James Blackmon is having surgery on the other knee from the one he injured last year and is likely out for the season. Tough break for the kid. Hope he can come back.

"He is third in the league in 3-point field goals made per game (2.8) and seventh in 3-point field goal percentage (46.3). In his two seasons with the Hoosiers, IU is 21-0 anytime he shoots 47.0 percent or higher from the field.

A final determination of his status could be known as early as later today (Jan. 5), but it is expected that he will not play again this season."

It does hurt any team to lose a quality player. In Indiana's case I'd be concerned as to how long it will take Crean to adjust. A week? A month?

O.G. Anunoby is picking up a big part of his playing time ... and producing. I think he's 7of 9 from behind the arc with Blackmon out.
