Lots of Hawkeyes in NFL Pre-Season Games tonight

He was tough.And he.made plays!.I.Is he 100%?
No. He's not 100%. Hasn't been since the beginning of his senior year. Even if he would have received a 6th year he wouldn't have been healthy enough to play. Word was his knee was pretty tore up.

Didn't he have a couple hernias as well?

I had the Chiefs on SiriusXM (UrbanView) and the Pack-Titans on TV. Wadley ripped off a 64 yard kick return to set up a TD. Commentators think that he'll be back as the #2 option on kick offs for the Titans. I think we at Iowa could see that happening.

As for Niemann and KC, he stuffed the Texans on a 4th and short to force a turnover on downs.

Niemann had a heck of a game. Hope he makes the roster.

CJ was 10-20 for 161(i think?) but had a pick.
Kittle was targeted 1 time.
Mabin had 2 solo tackles and a pass deflection.

Game is still on but I am not watching to see if Mabin is in.

Random but is Smith still with the Jags? If so, still on IR?

This is what I found:

Smith was waived/injured by the Jaguars on Wednesday. The nature of Smith's injury isn't clear, but if he goes unclaimed off waivers, he'll revert to the Jaguars' injured reserve list. Since going undrafted out of Iowa in 2016, Smith has appeared in just two regular-season contests, both of which came in that same year with the Colts

Smith (undisclosed) was placed on injured reserve after clearing waivers, Mike Kaye of FirstCoastNews.com reports.
Smith was waived with an injury designation on Wednesday. His season will be over unless he reaches an injury settlement and is released outright by the Jaguars.

Pretty "meh" nights for James Butler and Jake Rudock. Jake was 12-19 for 84 yards, 0 TDs for the Lions. Terrible second to last drive that sent them backwards. Cassel then nearly drove them to score at the end. Lots of check downs for little gain (where have you heard that one). Butler has 3 carries for 2 yards. Had a nice little burst of 6 yards on his second carry, but was blown up for -4 yards on a draw play at 3rd and 10 as the Raiders tried to seal it.
