Talked to Linn-Mar defensive lineman Luke Gaffney quick about his new preferred walk-on opportunities from Iowa and Iowa State today. He said he had kind of asked the coaches where he stood and Iowa State came back first with a preferred walk-on opportunity. Then, Iowa got ahold of him and let him know they had decided on at least a preferred walk-on opportunity at camp this summer, so wanted to make sure he knew that was already on the table. Gaffney is going to visit Indiana State this weekend - they offered a scholarship offer the summer - and then will visit Iowa again on October 16.
