Donnie's repeated insistence that he's completely innocent begs the question as to why he's petitioning the courts for immunity at all. One would rationally think that a jury trial proving his innocence beyond a reasonable doubt would be exactly what he would want.
There's nothing in the Constitution that makes a POTUS immune from criminal prosecution. There's a DoJ policy about that, but it's just a policy. Trump should be charges and prosecuted for crimes he might have committed.

I'm not defending him, but it's just a defense tactic to get stuff removed from the Prosecution's case. It happens in almost every case heading to trail. The defense puts motions forward to cut the Prosecution's things that are brought before a jury.
IMO, his motion for immunity will not be upheld and sent back to for trail.
