Trump is trying to find a way out of the Dobbs decision that he put into motion. It's a dog of an issue for Republicans and Trump knows it. He's also completely unattached to any person or any position in life. He has no moral core. He's trying to figure out a way to pretend he's pro choice without losing the people who put him into office in 2016, and who still supported him unconditionally in 2020 no matter how incompetent or corrupt he was as POTUS. He was backed into a corner at a press event, so he went with his standard, "Soon, very soon", response. The my tax returns are coming response. The Melania's immigration papers are coming response.

Likely be a huge announcement, I am guessing he will also announce his replacement plan for ACA along with a bigger better Infrastructure plan than President Biden, I can’t wait to hear all the details.

Trump will say whatever he believes will benefit him at the moment. Then he will subsequently deny he said it, attack the media, make a statement which contradicts his earlier statement, blame the media…. he’ll make a fvcking mess.

Trump is to blame for the abortion fiasco. So any walking back he attempts is pure BS. He put the judges in who ended Roe. He doesn't now get to pretend that he had nothing to do with it.
He's going to say whatever he wants in the moment, but the pro life with no exceptions crowd doesn't believe in triangulation of messaging. If he actually does make a real attempt at a statement he's going to try and muddle through with something that nods at them, but winks at the bulk of the population that believes in choice.
In short, he's going to tank it.

The threshold for the abortion protection referendum in Florida is 60% in November - which I believe will be hard to achieve. So the 6-week limit will likely stay in place.

Trump only won Florida by 3.4pts in 2020. Trump’s real concern should be the motivation of voters to show up to vote for the referendum and possibly voting blue down the ballot.

Au contraire... He has a very strong moral code. That being whatever benefits him at the moment. And, a moment can be just that... not a day, week, month or anything.
I believe that's a sign of narcissism and a**holism, not a moral core.
