Tim Sheehy probably won't lose a vote over this, sadly.
Beyond this, Sheehy is that interesting type of candidate that has flourished in MAGA world. He's got a bit of a SToLen VaLOr problem, and he is running his campaign partially on his success in the business world, when he is under fire for not paying employees, and funneling money to himself instead as his companies teetering on the edge of bankruptcy.

Sheehy admits that he's lied on multiple occasions about the origins of a bullet wound to his arm. Did he receive it in Afghanistan, and fail to report it? Was it a friendly fire incident, or, as some wonder, something more troubling? Sheehy, his staff, and national Republicans are predictably going after the media for reporting on Sheehy lying to a park ranger about the accidental discharge of a weapon. An odd occurrence for a .45 revolver that was in its holster.
