It's funny how no one cares about farmers or truckers until their stores are empty. It reminds me how no one cared about immigrants until they were shipped to dem cities, then it suddenly became a state emergency.

There is no such thing as an unemployed truck driver. There are people with CDLs who are unemployable due to a poor driving record, a drug habit, or some other disqualifying behavior, but if Trucker Ray is fired on Monday, he'll be hired by another company on Tuesday with a decent sized sign on bonus. As I posted before, I worry more about that guy driving down the road super angry all the time, and yelling at someone on his cell phone while driving.

It's important to differentiate between Corporate farmers vs private farmers. Corporate farmers will not be the ones fighting back.

Generalized fear. I got the same texts and emails in 2021 from my family who farms about how the Democrats were going to end farming as we know it and all family farms were going to be taken for minorities. Guess what, nothing happened and they still got their subsidized crop insurance premiums.

1. Any Trucker that refuses a load would be terminated or an independent driver removed from the dispatch list.
2. If loads aren't on time the driver could be fined or jailed if they purposely sabotage a delivery in what would be considered theft.
3. Dispatch would divert deliveries from small town America to large dense cities including New York.
4. Supply and demand dictates priorities along with profit.
5. Non-union drivers would be used that would jeopardize union negotiations.
