Start some non political threads and ignore the political ones

Actually, removing all politics will kill an off-topic board. I've seen it happen twice. Without some degree of political commentary, it's difficult to discuss most current events since our culture is too wrapped up in it.
Returning to a level of common civility in discourse would improve this and similar boards.

I see that video and I think of Michael Keaton taking away a firearm and giving a wooden gun in The Other Guys.
This board has had politics as long as I've been on here under this handle and @uniFIGHTuniFIGHT
We had that for a week while people were in jail. It was glorious. Then they came back and started to put old threads back in the lead.
Coincidently that's when I joined HROT. Hmmmmm..
