With the landscape being what it is in college wrestling, I think it is going to take a year or two with extraordinary instate high school talent to vault Iowa to the top. It is always easier to recruit in your backyard. Seems as though our state high school wrestling is good, but is void of the elite type of wrestlers. I think maybe teske from fort Dodge falls into that category out of next year's group, but not sure we need another 126. Have heard he is more of an Iowa St. lean anyway. Maybe some of you guys know some names that are at the top level, but even at that I think it is going to take a couple back to back years of a banner instate crop of kids.
