Marco made a realization in life that he isn't very talented, and his cushy job is dependent on the MAGAs. He just got down on his knees and fluffed Trump because he knows that he needs the cult for 2028. He knows another presidential run is out of the question. His best bet is 1-2 more terms in the Senate, get his pension, then enjoy his golden years as a lobbyist.

I think this is it. The guy has never had a job outside politics and probably wouldn’t know what to do otherwise.

He's hit rock bottom. He came to Washington with all kinds of promise, a voice trying to modernize the GOP. It's been all downhill ever since.
He had a chance on comprehensive immigration reform, but then he collapsed in on himself. He seemed non crazy at time on foreign affairs, too.
Talk about no dignity. And just think, he said those things in 2016 PRIOR to what's subsequently occurred. We're truly surrounded by assholes.

Just like Iowa Republicans, Marco has no problem with a felon occupying the White House.
It was over after he claimed God called him to return to the Senate after the Dolphins front office job fell through.
Let’s be fully realistic. GOP is the Trump party right now. I don’t believe for one second that Rubio is fully supportive, but if you want to stay away from angering Trump’s base, you kiss the ring and issue your support at this point in time. (Don’t take that as me thinking Rubio is some great, principled leader)
This is exactly right. Yikes... I really respected him last go around. Not any more.
