If they can't get ready for the #1 team in the country, then they have some serious issues lol.
He does seem to be laying the groundwork in case they get run by the high flying Hawks!I SEE FEAR!!
Watching his news conference, he's had at least over a week to familiarize himself to the Iowa players....the only real player he focused on in this video is Luka with a small caveat to Joe Wieskamp. He generalize the other players as the rest of the players that surround Luka as really good players. Maybe I'm a little picky and maybe he generalizes all his pregame news conferences like this but at least Fran goes over most of the roster of Iowa's opponents by name and skill set. I'm getting more and more confident that Iowa will take care of business this Saturday. I think Few is extremely concerned about their lack of game preparation and conditioning....great time to pull out the one, three, one zone with Luka, Nunge, Weeze, C.J., Kee Murray, Patrick, Connor. Toussaint, or JBO.
You have to respect the hell out of what Few has done at Gonzaga. And he has every right to be concerned about his teams conditioning. They only go 6 deep, which is dangerous when you play Iowa this year. The six they do play are solid though. Kispert, Timme and Suggs can play. Suggs is going to be a problem.
I understand you're connected to Iowa athletics, but do you have to work at being a dick, or is it part of your DNA? Hope Iowa boat races Gonzaga on Saturday, pay back for 5 years ago.
There conference is weak and they have no control over that. They stack their non conference schedule though. They have played 3 games. Kansas, Auburn & West Virginia. After they play Iowa, that will be 3 top ten teams in 4 games. If iowa played in that conference we'd be top 5 too. They play 3 decent non conference teams each year then go hide in their basement for 18 games and come out smelling like a rose.....

I agree. He only mentioned Drew Timme, if I remember correctly. He's loaded and he knows he has a great group. We need to be ready for what I believe will be a battle.I remember when Hayden used to “poor boy it” and then the Hawks would lay the wood to the opposition......Few is a great coach and I believe that they will be at 100% and plan to blitz us from the opening tip. Hopefully our Hawks are wired tight and ready to perform at a high level.
And they were supposed to play Baylor.Pretty sure they just signed up to play VA coming up soon

Fight with Flash. Love the remembrance.
That's sweet!
He needs to find more shotsSettles said it best against NIU, C.J. comes up big in the big games, so, glad he's an afterthought so to speak
