He looks pretty well put together......
A month ahead of schedule, it appearsHe looks pretty well put together......
Things look promising. Nice to see that Wetjen is part of the offense. Lester is fun to listen to; great teacher; great coach.
Check this out & watch:
yes, that long pass down the sideline from stratton to parker would have been a sack in a game. i'm def in a 'wait and see' mode.We always see the same stuff in practice. We see routes and passes > 10 yards
Then the real thing kicks in and we’re back to the short passing game.
Quite often in these videos defenders were breaking thru the OL real quick. It’s much easier to stand your ground when you know you won’t get hit
As always will wait until the season begins to judge any improvement
He looks pretty well put together. Can't wait until the end of Aug.......
And the starting OL didn't even dress for the scrimmage....yes, that long pass down the sideline from stratton to parker would have been a sack in a game. i'm def in a 'wait and see' mode.
well, there is that. which is why i'm going to wait and seeAnd the starting OL didn't even dress for the scrimmage....
Core vs universal thinking. I think football, really all games and sports, benefit from core thinkers.I like Lester too and think he's doing a great job, BUT he should have simplified the offense for the college game where, especially today, you might have a player for a year or two. You don't have guys for 6 or 8 or 10 years like in the NFL, and these kids, contrary to popular opinion, are still students who go to class. They don't have all day every day to learn the offense. I know he never played or coached football at any level, but a smart guy once said, "Everything should be made as simple as possible." I think his name was Einstein, FWIW.
