Mark Reiland

Here in SC we have also had a legendary coach - Nate Day - who won several team titles die from Covid. The disease doesn't care who you are or what you have accomplished. My thoughts go out to Mark Reiland's friends, family, and the Iowa wrestling community. A lot of great Hawks came from his program.

Remarkable that fewer than ten people have died "from the shot," but here you are as a close friend of one of them! Small world.
Well this is a flat out lie. How about we be realistic and say Covid is dangerous for people with co-morbidities and this therapeutic has caused the more injuries and deaths than all other vaccinations combined. These are facts. You saying less than 10 people is just flat out moronic, go look at the Vaers report.

You don't understand what VAERS is, nor what are its shortcomings. From the VAERS website itself:

VAERS is a passive reporting system, meaning it relies on individuals to send in reports of their experiences to CDC and FDA. VAERS is not designed to determine if a vaccine caused a health problem, but is especially useful for detecting unusual or unexpected patterns of adverse event reporting that might indicate a possible safety problem with a vaccine.

Nobody who actually correctly uses the VAERS data has shown *any* such safety problem. Nobody.

And more from the CDC:
Adverse events reported to VAERS are not necessarily side effects caused by vaccination. An adverse event is a health problem that happens after vaccination that may or may not be caused by a vaccine. These events may require further investigation. By definition, a side effect has been shown to be linked to a vaccine by scientific studies.

Here's a paper that describes an analysis of the VAERS data:

and the results:

In interim analyses of surveillance of mRNA COVID-19 vaccines, incidence of selected serious outcomes was not significantly higher 1 to 21 days postvaccination compared with 22 to 42 days postvaccination. While CIs were wide for many outcomes, surveillance is ongoing.

Please take the time to learn about VAERS and actual vaccine safety, and stop spreading misinformation. Then, reconsider your sources of information, because they are misleading you. Finally, don't call people "liars" and "moronic" until you've learned about the subject at hand.

I can come up with just as many of those as you. All of this from you is garbage. Stop promoting this crap.

I'm referencing the CDC. I'm referencing published scientific analyses. Are they all "promoting this crap?" I'd like to see your science-based references, and the data behind them, that indicate that any more than a handful of people have died from the COVID vaccinations. Thanks.

(I'm guessing you didn't actually read anything I referenced)

Referencing the CDC at this point is your problem. Throw in the WHO as well.

Believe what you want and I am just a hick from small town Iowa, but I personally know a 70 year old healthy male who broke down last week, got vaccinated (first shot), and felt like shit the next day. Went to the doctor, who said he reacted to the shot and was in acute liver failure. Sent him to Mayo in Rochester, where they said he needed to go on the transplant list from liver failure. He died before that happened. 1 shot and dead 72 hours later? I find it hard to believe he is the unlucky 1 out of 10 as you say. I am not an anti-vaxing mouth breather either. Believe what you want, but the internet is full of bulls%$t.

2 of my close friends died from either covid or the shot so GFYS! A$$hole!

78, and anyone who gave his post a “like”, is getting dog-walked. Anti-vaxxers are such embarrassing mental midgets.

Mark was a supporter of Wrestling for Life for many years and we will miss him.

I think most know that I am very fond of "The Cesspool", but I am embarrassed by what this thread has devolved into. Put your silly egos aside and honor a man who did more for wrestling and young people than all of you combined.
