Zuckerburg was on Joe Rogan recently and talked about starting Ju-Jitsu 12 months ago…says he wished he’d wrestled growing up and seemed very sincere about his connection with combat sports now that he’s gotten into them.
Wow. I guess South Park was right about him…. “Ha ha ha ha, you are no match for my shtoile. Ha ha ha ha ha! Now I see you're trying to use your shtoile over mine. Now, you try to block me. [assumes a fighting stance]you've learned that you cannot block me, yehhhs?” |
Just saw Tom Hardy in a grappling tourney. Guess he is a Blue Belt in BJJ.
Agree. Solid movie.if you haven’t seen “warrior” starring Tom Hardy and Nick Nolte and some other people, you’re missing out.

So is Mario Lopez apparently.Just saw Tom Hardy in a grappling tourney. Guess he is a Blue Belt in BJJ.
Agree. I liked him in Lawless as well.Loved it.

Violence in movies is accepted more than nudity in most parts of our country. And that’s kinda odd to me.AC Slater never could get the California pipeline going for Iowa wrestling, good thing he transferred, he'd have just been a room guy anyway.
Tom Hardy is also in the movie "Bronson" about the notorious British criminal with many famous prison fights. But warning, you might see body parts of him you weren't expecting. Thankfully he kept his clothes on as Bane.
I think this depends on the genre. 😉Violence in movies is accepted more than nudity in most parts of our country. And that’s kinda odd to me.
Never really though about it dub but you're right. That's pretty messed up.Violence in movies is accepted more than nudity in most parts of our country. And that’s kinda odd to me.
Genre or gender? And I’m talking just nudity, not sex.I think this depends on the genre. 😉
Genre... but I wasn't excluding sex, the act not the gender (or gender identity).Genre or gender? And I’m talking just nudity, not sex.
X-actly…Genre... but I wasn't excluding sex, the act not the gender (or gender identity).
Yea, and I wished I had a billion dollars. I would so like to wrestle this arrogant creep.Zuckerburg was on Joe Rogan recently and talked about starting Ju-Jitsu 12 months ago…says he wished he’d wrestled growing up and seemed very sincere about his connection with combat sports now that he’s gotten into them.
But Lopez actually wrestled, didn't he?So is Mario Lopez apparently.
Yeah, Mario is a couple years older than me. He wrestled at Oceanside HS near San Diego. He was a state placer at 160lbs.But Lopez actually wrestled, didn't he?
Zuckerberg never gives money without strings. He's one of the most self-serving guys in Big Tech. "Giving back" to Zuckerberg means gives back to himself. Besides, his money is dirty money, made by selling our private information. I'd steer clear of this guy. We want money from people with Wrestling's best interests at heart, like some of the guys with deeper pockets on this board, even if they are tiny compared to the Zuck's.Yes Mario Lopez wrestled and he now competes in Ju-Jitsu (it was mentioned in the Zuckerburg interview).
Grapplefann you just put billion dollars, wrestling, and Zuckerburg in the same statement which was my point in posting. The guy seems to have a strong connection with athletics and sports and wrestling in particular, who knows what it will mean when he starts giving back…I mean, even if he is a creep just as long as it isn’t John DuPont creepy but that doesn’t seem to be the case here.
Maybe talk Zuck into putting a few million into wrestling; we can give him a mic at nationals and let him run around with Baldwin and let them feel special together.
Never really though about it dub but you're right. That's pretty messed up.
Is that how DuPont got involved? Pinning a Shultz?Or we could have him in the room and let him pin Spencer. This strategy worked out well for the last eccentric, big $$$ guy who got into the sport.

Totally true.He comes off as disingenuous and squirrelly every time he opens his mouth.
Is that how DuPont got involved? Pinning a Shultz?
Awhile back, a dude went to classes naked at Berkeley for months. A person finally complained about the hygienic aspect and the University then required him to sit on a towel during lectures.Never really though about it dub but you're right. That's pretty messed up.
Lol Nope. Just read all about him.A 'friend' you know, right?
His son is wrestling now, tooYeah, Mario is a couple years older than me. He wrestled at Oceanside HS near San Diego. He was a state placer at 160lbs.
I don't buy it. He's pandering for props. Just another rich kid who woulda shoulda coulda. Not uncommon for people to look back on their life and wish they had done something tougher when they were younger. I'm not a fan of Zuckerberg. I don't care for his behavior or the way he runs his company, but those are his choices to make. Still cool for him to give wrestling a shout out, even tho I don't believe he'd stick with wrestling if he actually could go back in time.
I personally would not want to see a twat like the Zuck promoting the sport of wrestling
There's more at stake here than "reaching" people. He's a POS that made a fortune off collecting people's personal information. Billionaires always try to control the narrative, so now he's pretending to be a combat sports guy. The only humbling Zuck needs should be done by the federal court system. Why? Seems like he'd reach a shit ton of people.
