Retired with an active Q clearance (reserved for the most highly trusted individuals). Never had to pay for one and never will (either literally or figuratively), because I understand how to properly store, restrict access to, transmit, and have returned or destroyed Confidential, Secret and Top Secret information including NOFORN; and I have always respected and honored my responsibilities.
