Iowa had something to do with that Wojo.We played fantastic against Marquette but most teams have a couple games throughout the season where they just don't have it for whatever reason. I think our game was one of those games for Marquette. Hopefully they continue to do well this season and it will give us a RPI boost.
Disagree. I've watched both games, and Marquette is disorganized and selfish. Those elements were present against Iowa; we just dismantled them with a cohesive game plan. I do think it will be a good win for us because of Marquette's obvious talent. However, any time they play a team with talent and teamwork they will get worked over. Iowa showed these qualities in spades in their game with them. It was a spectacular display of how team play can dominate a disorganized unit. Can we bring that synergy consistently? I can't wait to find out on Thursday! We played fantastic against Marquette but most teams have a couple games throughout the season where they just don't have it for whatever reason. Maybe Marquette's will exponentially improve as the season goes on, but something about how discombobulated they appear to me at this point signals they will never quite make it this year into a truly quality team.
I'm seeing the same deficiences from Ohio St. Louisiana is a senior laden, experienced team and just dismantled them.
