Another that has never had miracle whip. I use very little mayo if I do use it on a sandwich, to much is just gross.

I went with mayo but it is only necessary for potato salad, macaroni salad, egg salad, and BLTs. Primarily potato salad which is one of the best sides ever. Mustard is better on deli sandwiches, hold the mayo. And there is no need for ranch in any circumstance. It’s not good on salads and blue cheese is better with wings.

Just found someone else for my ignore list.

Anyone here try this? I've always wanted to grab one ans give it a go. Heard good things.

I saw it at Costco and based on @FSUTribe76's posts, I happily pulled the trigger. I thought it was gross AF. First time I regretted following one of his recommendations.
I've seen nothing but great reviews online, but could never pull the trigger because of that unknown. Glad I didn't. Will let that sleeping dog lay.

Who knows, maybe I'm like one of those weirdos who thinks cilantro tastes like soap? if you see a little one give it a whirl. I tried it for a couple of different things before I decided it wasn't for me, and I threw it away.

And it’s sweet.

Yes, Kewpie is the mayo used in almost every Japanese and most Asian restaurants. So all of those thick creamy “Japanese” sauces are based on Kewpie mayo. If you didn’t like standalone (and I seldom use it for “American” purposes for that I use Dukes or Blue Plate), then try it to make spicy tuna sauce or yum yum sauce.

“Spicy Tuna Sauce” is 2/3 a cup kewpie mayo, 2 tablespoons sriracha, 1 teaspoon lemon juice and one teaspoon sesame oil as a base and you can “spice” it up more with black pepper, fresh grated ginger and horseradish.

Yum yum sauce is 1 cup kewpie mayo, 1 tablespoon ketchup, 1 tablespoon melted butter, 1 tablespoon mirin, 2 teaspoons rice vinegar, 3/4 teaspoon each of paprika, onion powder and garlic powder, and a splash of sriracha.

I grew up with Miracle Whip.

White bread, sliced bologna, American cheese, and Miracle Whip. That was a common lunch.

Haven’t had it in 30 years though. I try to minimize mayo in general. An easy “bad” food to avoid.

Speaking of Miracle whip. . . has anyone actually tried using it for it's stated purpose "Salad Dressing"???

Because that sounds nauseating.

I like MW on sliced tomatoes along with a little black pepper. I'm talking home grown tomatoes.

FWIW, I like both MW and mayo and will put either on a sandwich. They both taste great.
