i think its for fat salads not skinny saladsI remember my parents had Miracle whip when I was a kid and reading it say "salad dressing" but we used it as mayo. I just thought it was really odd and I've never heard of anyone using it for salad.

Real men prefer Miracle Whip so stand tall.I know it's like admitting you like twinkies, but I'm going to have to go with the Miracle Whip... Kill me.
Just found someone else for my ignore list.I went with mayo but it is only necessary for potato salad, macaroni salad, egg salad, and BLTs. Primarily potato salad which is one of the best sides ever. Mustard is better on deli sandwiches, hold the mayo. And there is no need for ranch in any circumstance. It’s not good on salads and blue cheese is better with wings.
I saw it at Costco and based on @FSUTribe76's posts, I happily pulled the trigger. I thought it was gross AF. First time I regretted following one of his recommendations.Anyone here try this? I've always wanted to grab one ans give it a go. Heard good things.
I use it in Tuna Salad.Speaking of Miracle whip. . . has anyone actually tried using it for it's stated purpose "Salad Dressing"???
Because that sounds nauseating.
I've seen nothing but great reviews online, but could never pull the trigger because of that unknown. Glad I didn't. Who knows, maybe I'm like one of those weirdos who thinks cilantro tastes like soap? if you see a little one give it a whirl. I tried it for a couple of different things before I decided it wasn't for me, and I threw it away.I've seen nothing but great reviews online, but could never pull the trigger because of that unknown. It is.I grew up with Hellman's, but I think that Duke's is better.
Same. I got one a few weeks ago at Costco. Not a fan.I saw it at Costco and based on @FSUTribe76's posts, I happily pulled the trigger. I thought it was gross AF. First time I regretted following one of his recommendations.

Imagine mayo with a slightly thicker consistency (more like tub butter than mayo) and half the flavor. It’s kind of weird.
No. That’s like saying real men take a cup of sugar in their coffee.Real men prefer Miracle Whip so stand tall.
Those commercials in the 90’s made it seem cool, but I still hated it.
Mayonnaise pansies put sugar in their coffeeNo. That’s like saying real men take a cup of sugar in their coffee.
My Mom only used Kraft Mayo but now I’m 100% Dukes.I grew up with Hellman's, but I think that Duke's is better.
Must be a Midwest thing. Very few people in South Florida used Miracle Whip when I was growing up in the 60s.I was a child of the 60’s and it dominated back then. It’s weird.
I saw one guy ever who put MW "salad dressing" on an actual salad. It was so gross! He was from Boston and ate a lot of boiled meat. 🤢Don’t the Brits use Mayo for salad dressing?
And it’s sweet.
That’s not where I thought you were going with the miracle whip…Mayo in the kitchen, miracle whip in the bedroom.

I like MW on sliced tomatoes along with a little black pepper. I'm talking home grown tomatoes.
FWIW, I like both MW and mayo and will put either on a sandwich. They both taste great.
