I was working in Iowa City on Saturday and Matt McDonough came in to Hy-Vee for lunch and told him I really enjoyed watching him wrestle. Very nice young man with his wife and daughter.

Classy kid from a classy program. Great mentor and role model to the young men currently in the room.
he must really love the hy vee ....I worked at a grain milling plant that got hammered by the flood in 2008...during that flood recovery period since we had no breakrooms I ate the hyvee salad bar most every day for lunch....bumped into him there many times...that was the summer before his coming out party...actually I take that back that was his redshirt year....at the time I never thought he would see the line up....got a kick out of him hitting the salad in the middle of the summer
The only complaint I have with McDonough is being in his weightclass/bracket since Kindergarten... Wasn't super fun.
