I made a huge mistake and went over to the Nebby Rivals site. I know—stupid. I only looked at one thread, it was about the women’s basketball game they somehow just won. It was a vile, disgusting, homophobic, collection of brain dead posts that had the intellectual maturity of a bunch of 15-year olds. I’ll never go back to that site, and I now know why I hate the Nebraska fans.

Don't know how many Iowa fans were there but they were heard cheering pretty good when there was a Hawk basket.

Yeah, I read that same thread and came away shaking my head at how ignorant many Nebraska fans are. One idiot was putting down women’s hoops, etc. However, he (or she) would likely be the first one to sing the praises of Nebraska’s women’s volleyball program…which nobody outside of Nebraska even knows exists.

That trip I am taking to Cheyenne Frontier Days just got a LOT longer.
At least fill up with gas before you cross the bridge! Then lock the doors and don't stop. You should be able to maybe get to the west border on vapors.

I remember when a LOT of fans wanted Fran fired for offering the Murray twins, and were way overboard in their reaction. Or all the fans on here who seriously believe there is B1G bias against Iowa.
This board is like most any other board in their ardent fans. Lots of passion expressed in unique ways. I’ve never had an issue with Husker fans. Been to some games there and have always been treated well.
Yes they hold on to their past but so would we if we had the same past in football.
Let’s see what happens if we don’t win another wrestling title in the next 20 years. I bet our fans will boast about past success.

Most fan bases in person are great people, Iowa State, Nebraska, Penn State wrestling........ it's the internet jackwagons that give them a bad name.
Yeah, its 11 hours for me to drive to Cheyenne, 20 of it is spent in Nebraska.
