Off to their 1st 3-0 start in Big Ten play since 99. Had big weekend victories over Wisconsin and a top 20 ranked Minnesota team. First time beating this tandem in same season since 1989. They compete with only one senior in the top 6 . Have beaten perennial NCAA qualifier Drake this season also. Trajectory of the program seems to be trending upward under their fifth year coach.

Definite threat. NOT! Just nice to see them a bit better have matches upcoming with top 20 ranked Illinois,Michigan and Ohio State. Realistic ceiling down the road is possibly to qualify for NCAA's as an at large
Hawks now 4-2 bIG TEN after beating #30 Penn state last evening. pLAY #1 ranked Ohio State at 11am Sunday. OSU also boasts the #1 ranked singles player. Excellent tennis and a good chance to see the Hawks before the noon baseball with Rutgers.
